Geisha coffee (also spelled Gesha) is one of the world’s most prized and expensive coffee varieties. It is celebrated for its exceptionally floral and tea-like flavor profile.

Origin

* The variety originated in the Gesha region of Ethiopia.

* It gained worldwide fame after being cultivated in Boquete, where producers discovered its remarkable cup quality.

* In 2004, the Hacienda La Esmeralda won the Best of Panama competition with Geisha coffee, bringing global attention to the variety.

Geisha coffee is known for:
